Marie Drake Comer, 76, of Montgomery, formerly of Powellton, died July 14, 2006, in CAMC Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 25, 1930, in Roane County, and was the daughter of the late Okey Franklin and Bessie Blanche Ledson.
She was retired from the Fayette County Board of Education, having served at Powellton Elementary School, and she was a lifelong resident of the Armstrong Creek area.
