Joseph R. Browning 79 of Chapmanville, WV was born April 18, 1935 at Barker Fork, Chapmanville, WV a son of the late Archie and Susie Barker Browning. He departed this life on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the CAMC-Memorial Division in Charleston, WV.
Mr. Browning was a retired carpenter from Browning & Stacey in Logan, WV and was a member of the American Veterans Association at Henlawson, WV, and a member of the Church at Barker's Fork.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Byrle Tomblin Browning, children, Teresa (Freddie) Stollings of Chapmanville and Timothy Joe (Susan) Browning of Sanders, KY, grandchildren, Timothy Andrew Faine and Adam Joseph Stollings, siblings, Frances Easter and Robert Browning both of Ohio, Doug Browning of Huntington, WV, Elizabeth Pendleton of Ravenswood, WV and Floyd Browning and Jackie Miller both of Chapmanville and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville with Raamie Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Browning Cemetery at Barkers Fork, Chapmanville, WV.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM Monday at the Evans Funeral Home & Cremation Services at Chapmanville.
