Lillian June Spencer, 86, of Hewett, Boone County, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 13, 2006.
Born June 23, 1920, at Hewett, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Archa Ball Spencer. June was also preceded in death by her son, Stanley Spencer, and one brother, Charley "Chebbie" Spencer.
She was a homemaker and a member of Meadow Fork Freewill Baptist Church, Hewett.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Spencer of Madison; brother, Ray Spencer of Chapmanville; grandchildren, Stanley Spencer II and wife, Selena, of Hewett, Cathy Arledge of Circleville, Ohio, and Wesley Marcum of Huntington; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 17, at Meadow Fork Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer-McNeely Cemetery, Hewett.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Sunday at the church.
