s/o Fred Miller and Jeweldene "Spencer" Miller
Roger Lee Miller, 50, of Hewett, Boone County, died Sept. 21, 1998, at home after a short illness.
He was a disabled lumberyard worker, having worked for Danville Lumber Co. with 15 years' service and for Bucane Lumber Co. He was a Christian.
Surviving: wife, Kathy Cottrell Miller; sons, James Miller and Roger L. Miller Jr., both of Hewett; daughter, Veronica Gilliam of Hewett; mother, Jeweldean Spencer Miller of Hewett; sisters, Charlene Jackson of Hewett, Evelyn "Sissy" Bias of Jeffrey; two grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Stevens Funeral Home, Madison, with Charles Curry officiating. Burial will be in Wallen Cemetery, Hewett. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home
