Marcella Fay Stevenson 86 of Hewett, WV went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at CAMC, Charleston, WV.
She was born Jan. 4, 1929 at Lake, WV a twin daughter to the late John Corbett and Elizabeth Dingess Craddock.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John D. Stevenson and son; Randy Ray, great grandson Braxton Stephens, maternal grandfather; Cam Pridemore, paternal grandparents; William Craddock and Sarah Elizabeth and sisters; Stella, and Mary Craddock and loving sister, Leora White, five brothers; Leelan, Laurence, Jucab, Joseph, and Willie Craddock.
Marcella enjoyed going to church, working at Logan Park and caring for her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include daughters, Brenda (Gary) Stephens of Huntington, Dorella (Corky) Spencer of Hewett, Connie Ramey of Proctorville, OH, daughter in law; Mary Stevenson, of Julian, grandchildren; Carrie, Paul Spencer, Michael, Chad Stevenson, Shanna (Adam Burchum), Danny Ramey, Steve (Sandy) and John (Jennifer) Stephens, great grandchildren; Zeke Ramey, Britney Stephens and Ily, Isabella, Alyssa, and Owen Burchum and Trentin Spencer, sisters; her twin, Luella Stevenson, Leona Kinkendoll, and Debbie (Richard) Hall, and Nella Craddock, brothers; Jacob Craddock, and Daniel (Sharon) Craddock, one very special spiritual friend, Betty Spencer.
A celebration of Marcella’s life will be held at Spencer Chapel of Hewett 2 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2015 with Rev. Bobby Belcher and Rev. Roger McCauley officiating. Burial will follow in Stevenson-Belcher Cemetery, Hewett.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be family.
