Arnie Hager Scragg, 95, of Richmond, formerly of Hewett, Boone County, W.Va., died Feb. 26, 1997, in Ginter Hall West Health Care, Richmond, after a long illness.
She was a member of Spencer Chapel United Methodist Church, Hewett, a Sunday school teacher with 50 years' service, a retired schoolteacher from the Boone County Board of Education and a member of Boone County Teachers Association.
Surviving: brother, R.S. Hager of Richmond two nephews and one niece.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Stevens Funeral Home, Madison, W.Va., with the Rev. Roger McCauley and the Rev. Earl Akers officiating. Burial will be in Hager Cemetery, Hewett. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
